First of all, I would like to emphasize the very nice initial contact by phone and WhatsApp - I felt comfortable immediately! This relaxed, friendly, completely uncomplicated manner, but with a high degree of reliability, persists even after arrival - TOP!! We were spoiled with ideas and empathy and - with breakfast! We were alone on the 1st floor, with spacious rooms; clean + tidy and cozy. All in all, a place to come back!

The accommodation is on the upper floor of a detached house in a good and quiet residential area. The landlords live downstairs. The flat is very clean and lovingly furnished. You notice that the owners take care of it themselves and intensively. We felt at home right away.
You have a bathroom/toilet to yourself. There is no kitchen, but a microwave, kettle, small fridge and crockery.
If you are looking for a quiet, well-kept accommodation, this is the place for you.

Relaxing time in the Euregio.
There was everything you need to live. Very nice room, good internet, nice hosts and a good breakfast. As an extra there was a microwave, fridge and coffee/tea corner.
A little more variety at breakfast would be nice.

A nice stay at this B&B. We found our stay at the B&B very positive. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was nice that our wishes regarding breakfast were taken into account due to allergies and/or dietary requirements. There are no negative remarks for this B&B.

Nice B&B fully equipped, where the owner really makes the effort to make you feel at home. Nice B&B in a beautiful area exactly on the border with the Netherlands and Germany. I was here myself for work, but it's definitely worth relaxing here for a holiday. I was able to switch off from work for a while and that was very nice. The owner of the B&B welcomes you warmly and is helpful with any questions you may have. Everything is neatly clean and well maintained, top!

It is not just a room, but actually you have the entire top floor at your disposal. We were very warmly welcomed by Ruud, he showed us everything we could use (fridge, microwave, sitting area, etc.). The location was wonderful in a quiet and beautiful area. Beds slept wonderfully and everything was present in the room (TV, sofa, armchair, screens on the windows). We will definitely go back as this was one of the best B&B's we've been to so far. Really recommended
We couldn't find anything that was disappointing.

The Communication with Ruud was great. He and his wife are great and very kind hosts to have. They are very helpful if you have any issues they are always available to help you if they can. Ruud even drove us back to the Sittard train station as we did not have a car and public transport is a few min away which is a little difficult if you have a lot of luggage. They are very nice people :) . Ruud explained everything very clearly and sufficiently at the check in. There is only a microwave in the apartment we could use but that was sufficient for a few days sins there is an ALDI not that far away from the airbnb. The rooms are pretty large and very clean. Even the bathroom has a very large space. I was very happy to have made the choice to stay at their airbnb. It is very cheap in contrast with other airbnbs but I would not say it is worth any less than other airbnbs I have been to even though they might have been more expensive. The airbnb provides enough room and equipment suited for the price per night. I am happy to have made the choice to stay there and If I ever go visit Sittard or the region around it I will consider Ruuds airbnb for sure again as long as it is available :) of course.

After a tough ride (93 km) coming from Sittard, we settled down at Ruud and Petra, Grenspaal 286.
We didn't leave our comfortable sitting/bedroom anymore, only to take a shower and had a nostalgic TV evening, on the ONS channel!
The next morning, after a lavish breakfast, we resumed our route and reached our goal, Maastricht, at about 12 noon!
Thank you for our pleasant stay with you, because thanks to you and the other "Vrienden Op De Fiets" receiving guest addresses, Nelly and I managed to cycle from Groningen to Maastricht in a week.

Quiet residence in a quiet residential area. No seperate entrance but you have your own set of keys and the good advices of Ruud who is very hospitable and  attentive. The room is spacious, the bathroom is more than "just OK", a comfortable mini-bar. Good TV and WiFi and all is very tidy. Also smooth communication, even when you make a reservation on short notice. In my opinion Ruud is a superhost.

B&B Grenspaal 286 in Hillensberg/Selfkant well known and very definitely recommended. Ruud and Petra received us in a friendly, open atmosphere, which creates direct confidence and their B&B is equipped with all comforts, with the spacious layout of the various rooms on the upper floor attracting attention.
