Location:

Right on the border of the Netherlands and Germany we started our B&B "Grenspaal 286" in August 2020. The name of our B&B refers to a boundarystone 150 meters further down the road which marks the border between the Dutch village Doenrade and the German village Hillensberg. The B&B is located in a small new building area.

In the hilly landscape of South Limburg on the so-called Plateau of Doenrade ("Doonder’) which is characterized by a vast cycling and walking area and at the same time is only a few minutes away from all major exitroads (A2, A67, B56, N300) you will find the peace and space to refuel.

Characteristics:

Your sitting/bedroom and private bathroom with shower and toilet are located in the upper floor ofwhich you are the only lodger. Our bedroom and bathroom are fully separated from yours as they are situated on the ground floor.

If you wish we can also provide a simple breakfast. We serve this breakfast in a separate area on your floor. But you also have the option of providing your own breakfast. A fridge, microwave, hot water boiler and plenty of cutlery and crockery are provided. If you prefer to have breakfast elsewhere there are plenty of options in the immediate vicinity, ranging from a buffet breakfast in a Castle in Doenrade to a breakfast for a few Euro at a German "Konditorei/Imbissstube".

Restrictions:

Due to hygienic reasons pets are not allowed.

Our choice how to decorate and furnish the upper floor as well as due to safety regulations prevent admitting children in the age from 1 to 12 years.

The number of guests is limited to 2 persons (babies excluded). A babybed can be rented and placed in your room.

The minimum stay is 2 nights.
